Doosan Robotics approached IQnection about expanding their visibility online and gaining more sales-qualified leads (SQLs). After several discussions to identify their target demographics, competitors, unique selling propositions, and key goals, IQnection determined the best course of action was an aggressive SEO plan, followed by a phase 2; a comprehensive lead nurturing campaign.
Doosan Robotics is an esteemed Korean-based manufacturer of traditional and AI-enabled collaborative robots. Doosan Group has a foundation of 130-years of developing clean energy, smart machines, and advanced materials to improve human life, which made the addition of Doosan Robotics in 2015 a natural fit.Â
Â
Common applications for their robotic arms include cobot solutions like palletizing, robotic welding, machine tending, and material handling. They serve a variety of industries throughout the world, but contacted our team to grow website traffic in their key markets: South Korea, the United States, and Germany. Â
The plan was to approach SEO holistically prioritizing all areas including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. These aspects can be defined as:Â
Brings together keyword research, content quality, meta data (including titles, descriptions, and tags), and internal linking. Â
Primarily focuses on backlink health and brand mentions online. This aspect of SEO is particularly important with the increase of AI Overviews and the rise of LLM search engines. Â
Focusing on website health, technical SEO targets website load speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability and indexing, and security. Â
Onboarding consisted of priority tasks in each of the areas of SEO. For on-page content, determining the highest value keywords by balancing monthly search volume and keyword difficulty. A monthly schedule of content focused on topical authority blogs was discussed and approved for production and structured internal link tree developed for page hierarchy within the site to be implemented in subsequent months.
Â
Off-page SEO primarily focused on the borrowed authority from credible websites and the removal of toxic backlinks. The IQnection team evaluated the backlink quality and created steps to disavow toxic links. This helped clean up the digital presence of Doosan Robotics, providing a strong foundation of borrowed website strength.
Â
During the first few months of onboarding, IQnection ran a website health audit and determined a list of website errors, warnings, and notices that were affecting the website’s technical performance. Â
As inviting as it seems to start producing large amounts of content from day one, the best way to see SEO results in 3 months is to start with research and evaluation.
