10 Fundraising Ideas You've Never Seen
Presented by: Kevin Jameson
President and Founder of the Dementia Society of America (DSA)
Starting as a young entrepreneur from the age of 18, selling lightbulbs door-to-door, and having launched several start-up businesses in the security industry, Kevin carried on his career as a sales and marketing executive, which has included over 30 years with major corporate divisions of ADT, BOSCH and Honeywell International.
Kevin Jameson directly managed sales with over $100M in annual revenue, and had overall global responsibilities for business relationships worth in excess of $300M across 5 continents. Whether it is a startup company or a longstanding customer relationship, finding new ways to grow the business in a mature industry is his expertise.
Author, inventor and patent holder, Kevin has traveled to Europe, Asia, India, Australia, the Middle East, Africa, South and Central America, and throughout North America to see how the world really lives. Kevin has run with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain; crawled down into the belly of the Great Pyramid at Giza; walked on fire with Tony Robbins in Los Angeles; climbed his way to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia; jumped out of a perfectly good airplane; and yet his biggest challenge, opportunity and reward was becoming a full-time family caregiver.
In the first 2 years since launching DSA, Kevin has led the effort to go from zero to over $150,000 in donations- most under $100- and without any grants or foundation support. Kevin will also share his personal story and connection to Dementia and leads the fight to raise awareness through thoughts, words and actions.
His establishment of the Dementia Society of America, is a dream in the making
