On May 9 Greg Cawood and Eric Jacobson attended the Association of Fundraising Professionals Franklin Forum event in Philadelphia. Representatives from the GivingTuesdayBucks.org project spoke to the group about the success of the 2013 GivingTuesdayBucks.org initiative. Eric explained the reason IQnection was excited about participating last year. “When the Bucks County Fundraising group approached us we knew it was a great opportunity to help the nonprofit community. We have worked with many of the nonprofit members of the Bucks County Fundraising Group and the goal of the project was in alignment with our corporate vision.”
Eric then reviewed the offer that IQnection is making to counties that would like to start a GivingTuesday initative. Thanks to the generosity of Greg Cawood and Bob Campbell , the founding business partners of IQnection, IQnection will be provide a free GivingTuesday website to any county in the tri-state area that would like a web presence for Giving Tuesday. Included in the offer is the website, domain purchase, and hosting. The next website on the schedule is www.GivingTuesdayMontco.org to cover Montgomery County, PA.
Eric and Greg will also be attending the Lehigh Valley Forum on Fundraising and Philanthropy on Wednesday, June 4th, at DeSales University in Center Valley, PA.
