Johanna Foods: Website Redesign Projects

Some of our most satisfying projects are redesign projects. Oftentimes, clients live with mediocre websites without knowing the benefit that a quality website can have for their business. It is very satisfying for us to take over a site that another design company built. It gives us the opportunity to showcase our design skills.
One such redesign project that we took on was for Johanna Foods. Johanna Foods Ltd. is a large food manufacturer, who produces well known products like LaYogurt™, Ssips™ and TreeRipe™ which appear in all of the major grocery stores across the U.S.

In order to motivate customers to purchase their products, Johann Foods' website needed to inspire a sense of quality and target shoppers on a personal level . We did this by using colorful graphics and compelling design, with an emphasis on the people who purchase the products. The site’s design incorporated many subtle elements that were brand oriented without being obtrusive.
Finally, the layout had to be uncluttered and simple to navigate. Due to the national exposure that Johanna Foods receives, and due to a number of promotional offers found only on the website, this is a high traffic site. Therefore, we were careful to make the site easy to navigate and used web safe colors and code that would load quickly and work smoothly across multiple different browsers.
