LeeAnn Piermont Camut is a children's book author from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She is a two-time award winner of Most Happening Author in Bucks County by Bucks Happening Magazine. LeeAnn is also the Founder/Executive Director of Be the Light of the Party Foundation (www.giveparties.org), a non-profit organization that sponsors parties and special events for the homeless and other disadvantaged groups in the United States and England. She is considered to be an international social entrepreneur, donating a portion of her book profits and copies of her books to various charities in the U.S. and U.K. LeeAnn engages in book signings/readings at events, businesses, schools, and children's parties. Through her Heart Project, LeeAnn uses her background as a psychotherapist to engage children's personal power and self-esteem. She is a graduate of Rosemont College with a bachelor's degree in psychology and the University of Pennsylvania with a master's in social work. LeeAnn also savors the art of cooking and recipe writing. Her recipes have been published in magazines including Better Homes and Gardens, Cooking Light, and Delicious Living. Peacock Parade is a rhyming picture book about a peacock who finds his special talent and shares it with others. This story helps children build self-esteem and empowers them to celebrate differences. It shows every child that he or she has something special to share with the world.
